A true modern artist, often representing a dark truth, Baden Pailthorpe (28), has been of hot-topic the past 12 months, following his War Memorial pieces. Most of Pailthorpe’s work focuses on military technology, atmosphere and the modern political sphere. Using a multitude of mediums, Pailthorpe’s latest attempt, is through the moving image.
Having graduated from the UNSW with an Australian Post-Graduate Awards grant, he was regarded as one of the best. In 2012, he was invited to have a solo show at the prestigious Palais de Tokyo in Paris as part of the Rencontres Internationales.
His pieces are focusing on symmetrical movement, and would fit into some of the more modern apartments available today.
