The $9m USD apartment, located at The Walker Tower in Chelsea New York City, offers the privacy for an A-list star with 18 inch thick walls and floors, making it completely soundproof.

Built in 1929, it is built to last, with the robustness extending to the floors that are capable of withstanding 100lbs per square foot, making it virtually impossible to hear above or below you.

JDS Development Group turned the old office building, by gutting it completely, and putting in 50 luxurious apartments with 14 foot ceilings - they bought the original building for only $27m USD.
