Developer Cedar Woods has released Lincoln Apartments, its fourth apartment building within the world-class master planned community of Williams Landing.

Designed by DKO Architecture, the collection of one and two bedroom apartments occupies a prime position in the heart of Williams Landing Town Centre, only 20km from Melbourne’s CBD.

The nine-storey building is formed by strong framing elements juxtaposed against refined detailing around the recessed balconies, which achieve outstanding views over the surrounding green spaces.

Potential buyers can choose from two carefully curated palettes featuring light or dark options. Both offer natural tactile finishes such as textured timbers, honed stone, loop pile carpet, and large-format porcelain tiles.

The apartments also give residents access to a spacious rooftop sky garden, featuring food preparation areas, barbecue facilities and plenty of seating. Here, neighbours can connect with one another, or host family and friends while enjoying the panoramic views.

Lincoln Apartments benefits from direct access to the architecturally-designed Williams Landing Shopping Centre which forms part of the town centre. Anchored by a Woolworths, the centre boasts 27 specialty stores, a premium childcare facility, and a dedicated eat street complete with multiple licensed family dining options.

The Williams Landing development consists of over 150 apartments, a brand-new Target head office, a strata office building featuring a ground floor medical centre, an office building leased to a Victorian State Government agency (under construction) and four established residential neighbourhoods. In addition to this, four offices are either in planning or development. The centre is expected to support up to 23,000 new jobs by 2031.

Surrounding this area, a range of tranquil parks and wetlands — with a number of playgrounds and walking paths — ensure locals can remain connected to nature.

The new Williams Landing Train Station runs peak hour services to the city every 10-12 minutes, via an express service train to Southern Cross Station, meaning residents can be in Melbourne’s CBD in under half an hour.

The development also gives locals direct access to the Princes Freeway and Western Ring Road for easy travel to Geelong (40-minutes away) and the city, while a major bus interchange offers even more options for public transport. And residents can travel to Avalon, Essendon, and Tullamarine Airports within 25 minutes.

Apartments within Williams Landing have achieved a steady price growth as the suburb transforms into a mixed-use precinct. Since the launch of the first apartment release in 2015, the average value has increased by 16 per cent for 2 bedroom residences, and 13 per cent for 1 bedroom residences — a fact which should certainly be attractive to investors.

Despite the increase in value, the homes remain an affordable entry point into Melbourne’s property market. The 1 bedroom apartments begin at $325,000 while the 2 bedroom configurations start from $395,000. Construction is scheduled to commence in mid-2019, with completion expected in 2020.
