Gold Coast developer Monaco Property Group (MPG) has begun construction at its multi-award-winning Isle of Capri development, Capri. The landmark project has moved beyond the demolition stage, with civil works starting recently.

The collection has garnered immense buyer interest, with over 60% of Capri already sold. Positioned on a prime 1.2-hectare site, Capri is the largest residential project in the prestigious Gold Coast suburb in over three decades. The secure gated community will comprise 48 luxurious, architecturally designed villas currently being built by Greyburn Building Contractors.

Interested purchasers are invited to visit Capri’s display, closing this Sunday, the 25th of February. This will be your last chance to see the selection of the residences’ finishes for yourself, including timber flooring, marble kitchen benchtops, Gaggenau appliances, Vintec wine fridge, the dry bar, built-in living cabinetry, ensuite bathroom with marble vanity, twin shower with reeded glass screen, and more.

Buyers can select between three and four-bedroom properties, complete with multi-purpose rooms and secure double garages.

The residential project also offers an exclusive gated community experience, featuring world-class resident-only amenities such as a resort-style pool with submerged loungers, sundeck, outdoor dining terrace, a covered barbeque area, and residents’ lounge equipped with a kitchen, bar, TV, lounge, and fireplace.

Director of Greyburn, John Kearney, reinstated that Capri has been impeccably and thoroughly designed to the highest level of detail, ensuring the high-end luxury project is delivered in line with buyer expectations.

“MPG has spared no expense on the design and construction of Capri with meticulous attention to detail applied to every facet of the project in order to create a residential project that exudes quality and is built to stand the test of time,” said John.

“The project combines the very best of high-end domestic construction within a solid concrete structure and suspended slabs utilised throughout the design which is not only testament to the expected longevity of the buildings, but the attitudes and culture behind its creation.

“As a Gold Coast-based company, Capri represents a very special project for our team and for our longstanding contractors and suppliers who also see it as a privilege to be involved in the construction of this landmark building.”

According to NPA Projects Director Andrew Erwin, with over 60% of residences already sold and four-bedders completely sold out, the project is set to kick into full gear.

“Capri has officially moved to the next phase, meaning it’s on track to be welcoming residents in 2025,” Andrew said.

He also expressed optimism regarding the sales trajectory, stating, “With construction moving forward so quickly it has instilled a high level of confidence in our existing and prospective buyers.”

The remaining three-bedroom villas are currently on the market, priced from $2.395 million.
