Located just moments from High Street on the cusp of Glen Iris and Malvern, The Beckworth has been designed by Telha Clarke and Studio Tate. The collection of just 18 residences feature expansive interiors and exude a sense of elegance. Floor-to-ceiling windows allow an abundance of natural light to suffuse the living areas while warm-toned timber cabinetry and electric fireplaces create a warm and inviting atmosphere.

It’s the subtle details which transform the kitchens from a scene of domestic activity into a streamlined experience. Self-cleaning ovens, microwaves, and plate warmers sit at comfortable waist height so handling hot pans will never be difficult. Meanwhile, the Fisher & Paykel fridges and freezers are large to hold enough groceries for the next week and then some.

The spacious bathrooms are a lesson in sophistication, complete with stone benchtops and freestanding bathtubs. Double basins ensure there’s no need to fight for space and there’s plenty of storage available in the large mirrored cabinet and floating vanity.

Melbourne-based award-winning studio John Patrick has curated the gorgeous gardens connected to the outdoor terraces. These spaces serve as private retreats for residents — areas where a book can be enjoyed alone or dinner parties can be held al fresco.

Living at The Beckworth, residents have access to an intimately lit communal wine cellar. Complete with eighteen lockable cabinets for storing personal wine collections, the facility is perfect for gathering friends and family for an evening spent tasting fine vintages.

Thanks to its prime position on Tooronga Road, the boutique project grants access to the best of both Glen Iris and Malvern. These suburbs are home to village-like shopping precincts where locals can be found enjoying brunch at one of the many trendy cafés or else browsing the selection of designer outlets.

Just down the road from The Beckworth, the Harold Holt Swim Centre is a fitness staple to the community with its indoor and outdoor pools, spa, and sauna. Alternately, residents can achieve a balanced lifestyle by exploring the many surrounding parklands. The historic Malvern Gardens and scenic Central Park are both nearby, while an array of cycling and walking paths offers further opportunities to enjoy exercise in the beautiful outdoors.
