As part of the $1b facelift of Darling Harbour, acclaimed architectural firm Architectus and local property developer TWT, present NewLife at Darling Harbour. The development offers 200 residences catering to a variety of needs, including penthouses, single storey apartments and several two-level terrace apartments at street level. Instead of prescribed envelopes - which virtually filled the site and provided only minimum separation between apartments - our proposal extended and completed an existing land network and provided a much larger central courtyard.”

Envisioned then created from the ground up, NewLife Darling Harbour’s heritage-inspired brick facade offers a thoughtful addition to the local aesthetic; the neighbourhood is defined by Victorian terrace rows that give the area its quintessential character. 

The upper levels appear to float above the base structure. Metallic clad walls, bronzed screens, vast expanses of glass and recessed balconies work together to create the illusion and maximise impact. The site also takes advantage of sweeping views of Sydney’s vibrant CBD to the East, Pyrmont to the North and Broadway to the South. All apartments feature balconies overlooking either the CBD or Anzac Bridge, while the upper terraces take maximum advantage of the stunning views of the Sydney skyline, including the harbour.
