Meriton Awarded

Meriton’s latest building has been awarded Housing Industry Association NSW award for buildings over 10 storeys.

Comprised of 4 buildings, VSQ North is a 27 storey tower therefore making it the tallest building in Zetland. The views from the tower soar over Sydney’s Centennial Park, The Lakes golf course, and the city skyline.

Having been completed in July 2013, VSQ North has transformed what was once an industrial area, into a booming residential playground similar to that of Richmond in Melbourne. Equipped with a pool, spa, gym, and onsite childcare centre. VSQ North is now home to 297 households with a 6.3 star thermal comfort rating, featuring energy-efficient fittings and fixtures throughout.

“It has become a landmark for Zetland and Sydney itself” said Meriton’s founder and managing director, Harry Triguboff.

“It’s very good to see VSQ North obtain recognition for its quality, design and amenities…it is one of the first buildings you see as you drive in from the airport. We’re very proud of it and the residents love living here. We believed in Zetland from the beginning”, Triguboff continued. 

The HIA NSW Housing awards honour the highest achievements in the residential building industry, recognising outstanding workmanship, design and innovation.
