Pace Development Group bring experience and quality to joinery and stone venture

For the last 27 years, a team of passionate Melburnians, Pace Development Group, have delivered a staggering 100 sold-out developments.

This dedication and commitment to building residential residences is now being implemented in their very own joinery and stone business, aptly named Melbourne Joinery + Stone. 

Pace Development Group have always been driven by the pursuit of excellence, but have become increasingly frustrated by the process of ordering and fitting quality materials. 

“Over the years, lots of businesses have not been able to keep up with our high requirements,” explains Pace’s general manager, Steven Baird.

“When you’re building apartments, you’ve got to install 20 or 30 kitchens a week, and they’re all slightly different and unique.”

The process of outsourcing stone and joinery can be relatively slow and tedious. Often the protocol, from the measurements to implementation, can take up to 15 days.

“We’ve ended up with completed two-storey projects with no joinery in the past,” added Mr Baird.

“What Melbourne Joinery + Stone has been able to do is cut out this long process and deliver quality interiors quickly so owners can begin enjoying them on schedule.” 

It’s not just the speed of production that has been improved. The opulent nature of the product is also wonderfully delivered, as is the timeless quality.

“First the stone and the joinery is quality controlled in the factory by our expert team. It is then checked by our experienced installation guys before finally going through our rigorous defects stage.

“If any issues are found, we can have that material turned around and back on the site within an hour.” 

The business has been rolled out across Pace Development Group’s most recent projects, including upcoming Pace of Ascot Vale and Pace of Sunshine North.

The beautiful craftsmanship and timeless façade of these materials aren’t just on show in the kitchens, but across the whole of the residences. This means residents can enjoy these quality and long-lasting products throughout the home.

“Apart from the kitchens, we also fit the robes, the bathroom vanities, TV units, laundry fit-outs, study desk, and storage units. We’re bringing the whole wonderful joinery and stone package.
