New apartment project Parq is the perfect entry point for those looking to obtain a residential address in a premium south eastern suburb.

David Carabott, Director of CHT Architecture — the team behind the project’s elegant design — says Parq is a high-quality boutique development.

“We specifically excluded one bedroom apartments from the building and only offer two and three bedroom residences,” he explains.

“The apartments are spacious, with lots of natural light suffusing living and dining areas and an open floorplan which really reflects the different elements of Australian living,” Carabott says. “The bedrooms are larger than average, and the private courtyards promote opportunities to entertain friends and family outdoors.”

Working alongside CHT Architects, SORA Interior Architecture and Design has helped form the interior aesthetics of each home, keeping the style simple and timeless.

Chantelle Balliro, the Executive Manager of the design firm, says, “We used refined timbers in the joinery, which complements the timber flooring, and natural stones can be found in the kitchens and bathrooms.

“The bedrooms feature a soft and neutral palette while bathrooms have been designed with lots of integrated storage solutions. This is evident in the mirrored cabinets, in the recessed shelves above the floating vanity, and within the showers."

Being located in the McKinnon High School Zone, an extremely sought-after school, Parq is a great option for growing families. And, with a range of cafés, restaurants, the train station and lush reserves all within walking distance, a well-balanced lifestyle can be achieved here.

Tanya Manouch, owner of local wine bar Wolfe & Molone, has been living in McKinnon for many years and says it’s the community spirit which makes the suburb thrive.

“I think in the last five years we’ve seen a rapid change in McKinnon. More and more young couples and families are making the move out here, and the culture is changing,” she says.

Parq is well-connected to the public transport system, and the Nepean and Monash Freeway allow direct links to Melbourne’s CBD just 15km away. Residents can live a suburban lifestyle but with easy access to urban amenities and businesses.

Fynnan Constructions has recently been appointed as the builder of this sophisticated project. The company has a reputation for innovation and fresh ideas and has made a commitment to source locally where possible. Construction will commence in August this year.
